Banbury Rotaract

The Rotaract Club of Banbury is the club most likely to give you what you are looking for in a service club.  Rotaract strikes the happy medium between a social club and a community service club; giving the best of both worlds.  Membership is for those between 18 and 31.

The Rotaract club is satisfying to belong to because active membership earns a feeling of contentment as well as achievement.  Rotaract is also inexpensive because most projects require involvement and not expense.  We all join clubs like Rotaract for two main reasons firstly, to broaden our outlook on life by helping people in need of our services and secondly, to make new friendships that last a lifetime.

We have been a club since 2012 but were not officially charted until January 2013.  We meet weekly at a local pub (Ye Olde Reindeer) and discuss business as well as having a catch up and chat over a few drinks.  Frienship is very important in Rotaract the meetings are designed to emphasise fellowship as our all the projects and social activities.

There is a main committee comprising of the President, VIce-President, Secretary and Treasurer.  The committee is responsible for the main running of the club however most decisions and projects are discussed by the whole club in the meetings.
